H.H.Furnishings Ltd was founded in 1967 as HouseHold Furnishings Ltd and was housed in a factory in "Mia Milia" Industrial Area. After the Turkish invasion HouseHold Furnishings was left without a home. Operations were suspended for about a year and H.H.Furnishings Ltd was born to start operations from a small rented factory in Strovolos, a suburb south of Nicosia. In 1978 a new 2,400 sq. mtr. industrial facility, at Strovolos Industrial Area, became the home of H.H.Furnishings Ltd. Operations continued their rapid expansion and in 1981 it creates the first "PRIMA" kitchen, line of modular kitchen cabinets, based on European systems and standards "System 32". Further to that a new 700 sq.mtr. showroom and new office extension was built on site. Production capacity grew exponentially and in 1983 the company took a leading step in becoming an exporting firm. The following year it undertook a big project to manufacture, pack and deliver 700 kitchens to Saudi Arabia in a record time, for the Cyprus Industry, of six months.
