Gevorest Mattress Co is a wholly owned subsidiary of GEVO and was established in the mid 60’s. In December 2003, Gevorest was awarded the new ISO 9001:2000. GEVOREST employs the very latest technology in mattress making and works to the highest European and American standards, often designing its own production equipment and machinery, thus achieving a fine balance between modern production techniques and traditional craftsmanship. In addition to a wide variety of spring interior and latex mattresses, bed divans and headboards catering for individual needs and tastes, a rich product range is offered in the areas of bed-linen and soft furnishings; GEVOREST quilts and bed spreads, bed sheets, pillows, curtains and other related furnishings have become a household name. The company is also the leading supplier to the hotel industry, in Cyprus. In the above context, two very well known international names in bedding, namely, SLUMBERLAND and DUNLOPILLO have entrusted the promotion of their products in the hands of GEVOREST. A close association with the above two companies, through a Licensing Agreement, is thought to be a major strategic move forward and will offer the end-consumer the finest choice of quality beds. The SLUMBERLAND Agreement covers Cyprus, Greece and Lebanon, while the DUNLOPILLO Agreement covers only Cyprus. With a second factory in Beirut, Lebanon and a sales operation in Athens, Greece, Gevorest is now targeting not only European markets but also the Middle East.
